Today I want to share our latest project. When we moved into our earth shelter home, we also inherited a barn with a few left over goodies in it. In those goodies there was a really nice dresser. I mean, I almost felt bad painting it. But I knew that it needed a little help and I wanted to add some color to the living room. Here are a few pictures of the project. You will see that my husband, Jason, took the liberty of deciding where to add the color. I had originally planned to paint the entire dresser. He made a good call in painting select areas of the dresser. The plan was to cover the damaged areas with paint yet leave some wood exposed to tie into all the other wood items in our decor. I think he did a great job!

Finished dresser re-do into our "new" tv stand

Notice how the drawers at the top were transformed to drop down. This is for components like the DVR, etc.
